The first step in a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment is creating your unique, genetically-tailored serum. Dr. Summer will draw a small amount of blood, similar to what you might expect at a routine physical exam. That blood is then spun in a centrifuge, causing the blood components to separate. The extracted plasma and platelets are then recombined to create a powerful, DNA-matched serum that can be applied topically or injected to ramp up cell turnover and new collagen production. And when PRP treatment is combined with microneedling, you get a supercharged rejuvenative response that results in smoother, firmer, more radiant skin.
